Tips for Best Results

Use high-contrast source images. The cleaner the separation between subject and background in the original, the cleaner the cut-out. A person standing in front of a cluttered wall is harder to process than one in front of a plain background.

Shoot against simple backgrounds when possible. A plain white, grey, or single-color wall gives the algorithm the clearest edge information to work with.

Check fine details at 100 % zoom. Hair, fur, and semi-transparent fabric are challenging. Zoom in after processing to catch any stray pixels or missing strands before downloading.

PNG is the correct output format. Transparency requires the alpha channel that only PNG (and WebP) support. JPG cannot store transparent pixels — if you need JPG output, fill the background with white after removing it.
